Certified Organic: can't beat the real thing.

Our fruit is Certified Organic by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

That means that a third party has verified that all of the crop production practices have been inspected to assure that they comply with the Organic Standards.

We do not use synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, or herbicides. We maintain organic matter in the soil to maintain nutritional balance.

We use biological means to control pests, and encourage natural predators. By doing this we have helped nature establish a natural ecosystem that is in balance and is quite efficient.

When we pack your fruit we do not apply any wax or other unnatural compound. If you would like us to "shine" your fruit for cosmetic reasons we will do this the old fashioned way... by hand.
